Hosted by Steve Brodt with Haunted Nights, Monica encounters Pearl and George spirits arguing and additionally both succubus and incubus entities.

Located in ‘America’s Most Haunted Town’ of Alton, Illinois, the Mineral Springs Hotel is renowned for its rich history and numerous paranormal encounters. As a prominent landmark, it has been the subject of many investigations and stories, attracting visitors and paranormal enthusiasts from all over the country. Its reputation for hauntings and supernatural activity makes it a fascinating and mysterious destination for those intrigued by the paranormal.

From my assessment as a psychic medium, I believe there is a succubus that lurks both upstairs and downstairs in the basement and sub-basement areas of the hotel. The incubus, on the other hand, is primarily found in the sub-basement, adding to the eerie atmosphere. In the basement, which used to be an old bottling facility, there is also a grifter spirit—a young man in a white hoodie who appears lost, often seen sitting on the floor of the hallway leading to the basement area. This grifter spirit may have been a young man who overdosed during the hotel’s abandonment in the 1970s, a period when drug abuse and prostitution were rampant in the area.

Additionally, I encountered two old spirits, Pearl and George, in the middle of what appeared to be a ghostly altercation. Whether it was an actual fight or a residual haunting versus an intelligent one is still unclear. This occurred in the hallway of the ballroom, a room that holds six mirrors (not including those in the bathrooms). Witnesses have reported being mysteriously locked in the bathroom stalls before. Interestingly, my fellow psychic medium observed that Pearl was actually shielding me and my energy from the succubus, which bore a striking resemblance to the evil entity ‘nun’ from the movie The Nun, indicating that Pearl is an intelligent spirit.

In another chilling experience, I, along with two other female investigators, communicated with the spirit of ‘William’ in the sub-basement pool area. Known to be a janitor, William’s spirit made a significant impression on us. Interestingly, I captured a monumental shadow in the back room of the sub-basement pool, which I believe to be William, as I could strongly feel his presence. However, William’s spirit displayed a disturbingly sexual nature towards the three of us. Later that evening, one of the investigators reported being touched by him. This leads me to conclude that William is the incubus spirit tied to the basement area, in contrast to the succubus that roams more freely and was invited by questionable individuals through a ritual involving a Ouija board.

Sadly, this episode marks the last historical investigation at the Mineral Springs Hotel, as the new owners, who had just purchased the property that week, announced that this would be the final weekend for ghost hunting tours and investigations. In my final conclusion, I believe there could be future casualties during construction due to the succubus’s presence, which was invited by questionable individuals who performed a ritual with a Ouija board near the area where Pearl and George are often reported.

We hope I am wrong about the future and look forward to the rebuild of ‘America’s Most Haunted Small Town’ of Alton, Illinois.
